My Quilt Gallery
These are my earliest quilts.
|
This was my first original design. I call it Carnival.
Circles - A baby quilt.
|
Circus - This was actually a block called kites, but I thought they looked like circus tents. I added pompoms, to the top of each tent and appliqued balloons.
|
Butterfly - A retro baby quilt.
|
|
...and, the journey continued.
|
Alien - The result of a challenge
to use an outer-space fabric,
the turquoise with white moons.
|
Posey - I found this pattern, years ago, on the internet. The edges of the flowers are unstitched, so when you wash it the edges of the petals fray.
|
Pinwheel Stars - I love this star pattern. This was a baby quilt.
|
Honeybee Block Quilt - I have
always loved the honeybee block.
I quilted the border with bees
and behives.
|
Primitive Girls - I saw a quilt
done with these primative girls,
and had to design one of my
own. I love the patchwork
apples. I quilted the border
with apples.
|
Bundle of Joy - I made this quilt
from Alex Anderson's fabric
collection "Leila Rose." It appeared
in McCall Quilting Magazine.
|
Drunkard's Path - This quilt
was made using one Layer
Cake and the Accuquilt
die machine.
|
Wonky Blue - I love one-color
quilts. Sometimes I forget how
great they can look. This one
is made with wonky squares.
|
Pretty in Pinwheels - This quilt
was made with a layer cake.
I loved these fabrics, so fresh
and new. I am crazy for
anything with dots.
|
Betty - I wanted to try my
hand at an art quilt. My
little bulldog, Betty, was
the perfect choice..
|
YoYo Pillow - This was great fun
to make. I would never have the patience to make a yoyo quilt, so this was the perfect compromise.
|
I like to design a new quilt every Christmas. Here are a few of my designs.
|
Secret Season - This design
was done as a design as
you
go.
That is the same way I
designed Carnival.
|
Christmas Booty - I made this
for my grandkids. I
keep the stockings filled
with goodies. They run for
the quilt, the minute they
get to my house.
Due to several requests, this
quilt is now available as a pattern Sugar Plum Dreams
|
Reindeer Games - The center
blocks of this quilt are a
pattern from Piece of Cake
Designs. I love these reindeer, because they look like
something from the 40s or 50s.
The border is my own design.
